Breast Cancer Trials
42nd Annual Scientific Meeting
On behalf of the Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) Organising Committee, we welcome you to participate in our 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting, which will be a virtual conference from 28-30 July 2021.
After careful consideration of the safety of our delegates, speakers and staff as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with various travel and gathering restrictions in place around the world, we have made the decision to proceed with a 100% virtual conference for this year’s ASM.
Our virtual conference will provide an innovative platform to engage researchers, clinicians and BCT members, and as well as an exhibition hub for sponsors.
The ASM will host a number of internationally renowned guest speakers including key BCT researchers and includes two days of scientific sessions covering timely reviews of breast cancer clinical trials, discussion of new protocols, future clinical trials research and other research developments.
Our delegates include leading Australian and New Zealand medical practitioners including medical oncologists, surgeons, research nurses, study coordinators, radiation oncologists, pathologists, psychologists, geneticists, registrars and fellows, and other clinical trials management personnel.
BCT is the largest independent, oncology clinical trials research group in Australia and New Zealand, and for more than 40 years BCT has conducted clinical trials for the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. The research program involves multicentre national and international clinical trials and brings together around 800 researchers in 107 institutions throughout Australia and New Zealand. BCT has contributed to almost 1,200 peer reviewed publications and more than 16,000 people have participated in BCT clinical trials.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved in this exciting meeting and we look forward to welcoming you to the ASM.
